I am here to make your photography experience as seamless as possible. Below are questions I get asked often. If you don't see the answer to your question, shoot me an email and I'd be happy to go over all of your questions with you!

frequently asked

What equipment do you use?

how many pictures will we receive?

When will we receive our pictures?

how do we book you?

do you travel?

I am so excited you are considering me as your wedding photographer! You can head over to the contact page and send me an email with some details of your wedding, and I will respond as soon as possible.

I photograph with two Canon r6's - mirrorless cameras, along with a variety of lenses to capture macro, wide and tight pictures throughout your wedding day. I also have a variety of lighting equipment, from on camera flashes, off camera flashes, to constant LED's that I will use to compliment the natural light images.

Each wedding is different, so this will vary based on how many locations there are, the number of people attending, and how many formalities happen during the day (special dances, speeches, etc). On average, you will receive at least 100 pictures per hour.

You will receive sneak peaks within 48 hours of your wedding! From there, you can expect to receive your full gallery approximately 6 weeks after your wedding. You will receive all of the images via a USB and an online digital gallery where they can be viewed, downloaded, and shared with friends and family.

Yes! I am based in Westchester, NY, but I will travel anywhere worldwide for your wedding! For more information and travel fees, inquire below with details on where your wedding is.

How far in advance should we book you?

I have had bookings as recent as a few weeks before the wedding, or as far as 2 years in advance. On average, most of my couples book me 9-14 months before their wedding. Reach out and let's see if your date is available!

Questions

Will you help us pose?

Being a wedding photographer, one of my specialties is making people instantly feel comfortably with me. This plays a huge role in you looking relaxed and natural in pictures. I will direct you throughout the day, in a way that captures you and your spouse in the best way, while allowing you to make it your own. I love to incorporate movement and fun poses to create genuine emotions.

Are you insured?

Absolutely. If your venue requires proof of insurance, let me know, and I will provide them with all of the necessary documents.

should we do getting ready pictures?

Should we do a first look?

Yes! Don't even think twice! Getting ready pictures not only complete pictures to a full gallery, but can show so many intimate details, like your mom buttoning your wedding dress, and the fun moments with your bridal party and family before you say "I do." It is a time for us to photograph candid moments of makeup finishing up, popping champagne, and laughing with your bridal party. Getting ready pictures also capture the little details of your wedding that your guests may not see or know the meaning behind - you wearing your grandmother's bracelet, or a piece of your mother's wedding dress being incorporated into yours, fun socks that you and your groomsmen are all wearing, or that purple bow tie you picked out because you have a Purple Heart. These detail pictures are SO special and time should be dedicated to photographing these.

There are several reasons I suggest doing a first look, and a few things you should think about when deciding whether to do one or not. Most of my couples choose to do a first look these days, unless they are getting married in a church.

• We can get most (sometimes all of) the pictures done before the ceremony, so you get to enjoy most of your cocktail hour!
• It's one of the only times during the whole day that you get alone with your spouse before the craziness of the day kicks off.
• What time is your ceremony? If your ceremony is during golden hour, note that it will be dark once it is time to do bridal party and family pictures.
• Weddings that have first looks tend to have a larger gallery in general. This is because with you being able to go to cocktail hour, we have the ability to get great candids of you interacting with guests.
• You can great all, or most, of your guests during cocktail hour - that means more time on the dance floor during the reception!
