Shannon and Matt met 9 years ago while Shannon was lifeguarding on Breezy Point Beach and Matt was hanging out with friends. It was bad weather that beach day and they started talking. Talking turned into dating and then they eventually got engaged! After getting engaged in July 2022, we did their engagement session on that same beach 9 years after they met! It was so sweet to capture them back where their love story first started. They are excited to be the first of their friend group to get married. They are celebrating next April 2024 at The Meadow Wood in New Jersey.
Part of the beach has a skyline view of New York City in the distance, so we started their engagement session there. Afterwards, we drove to another location where we had a beautiful golden hour and sunset. It was so dreamy and I’m so glad the weather decided to outshine for us the way it did. Later on, Matt’s parents met us with Shannon and Matt’s two dogs so we could capture some “family pictures.”
