Mia and Mladen’s New York City Croatian wedding was amazing! When I asked Mia what she was most excited for she said “Mostly excited about the church; walking down the aisle to my fiance surrounded by people I love while music is playing. Also really excited for the celebration portion after the cake is cut and everyone is just dancing.” Let me tell you if you are invited to a Croatian wedding, you better find some comfortable shoes, because you’re going to be on your feet dancing and celebrating all day long!
This day was full of so much love throughout the family and friends. Mia’s mom updated a bedroom in their house specifically to create a beautiful, neutral bridal suite for Mia to get ready in on her wedding day, and it was perfect! Before heading to the church, at both the bride and grooms getting ready, there was food, drinks, music, and Croatian dancing! After the church ceremony in NYC, we went to the New York Public Library for bridal party photos and bride and groom portraits. Mia was so excited to have this iconic building as part of her wedding images. It is neutral, classic, and timeless.
