Emily and Richie had the perfect fall engagement session during peak fall foliage. It was surprisingly warm, which is always a huge plus for November in New York. We did the engagement session on November 2, 2022 at Untermyer Gardens in Yonkers, NY. We walked all around the gardens, which have so many different scenery options. Between the architecture, gardens, and Emily’s two outfits, we were able to get so much variety for their engagement photos! Having different outfits and locations to photograph at allows the clients to get a lot of variation in their final gallery.
We ended at Untermyers newest section of the park, which is down by the waterfall. The sun was setting over the Palisades giving us a beautiful golden hour! The photos look so magical and dreamy with the soft golden hour glow. I truly had the absolute best time with Richie and Emily. I’ll be photographing their wedding at Red Maple Vineyard in June 2024, and I cannot wait to capture their love!
