Alana and Anthony’s love story began a couple of years back in NYC and they’ve been inseparable ever since. When they reached out to me about their NYC Spring engagement session, I was so excited and ready to capture this milestone in their life as they prepare to tie the knot in 2023! Their wedding will take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Downtown Club by Cescaphe which am definitely counting down the days for!
Now, being that they spent the first couple of years of their relationship in NYC, we figured what a better place for their engagement session to take place? It was such a sweet way to tie a huge piece of their love story into the photos.
Since it was Springtime we headed over to the Cherry Hill Fountain in Central Park to see the Cherry blossom trees that were in full bloom! It was absolutely breathtaking and if you don’t live near cherry blossom trees, I highly recommend taking a trip up here to see them. After standing in awe of the Cherry Blossom Trees, we headed over to the Bethesda Terrace and I snapped some awesome city street photos along the way! And, did I mention they brought their cute french bulldog named Peach? She came along for the fun and was incorporated in a few photos. Alana and Anthony’s two friends were even sweet enough to carry peach during their day while they were busy with me!
One thing I loved about their session, and something I try to integrate into every session, was fun and unique locations. For Alana and Anthony that was swinging by Van Leeuwen Ice Cream Shop for some ice cream! We ended the evening there with some delicious ice cream cones which truly was the perfect ending to a day.
