Julia and Eric met right before the shut down caused by the pandemic, through a dating app. Their relationship was fast-tracked when they were quarantined with each others families, getting to spend a lot of time together! Like many other couples, they decided to get a dog to hang out with – meet their puppy Benny! Eric surprised Julia and popped the big question on December 31, 2021, which of course she said YES to – what a way to end the year!
Julia planned an amazing retro inspired engagement session in Montauk, New York, including pictures at her families mini golf course and boat rental, Puff & Putt, which also had a beautiful dock over the water, the local ice cream shop, John’s Drive-In, and we ended the session with one of her grandpas antique cars, at the Hither Hills Overlook. I absolutely LOVED the outfits these two came up with. They did a little more casual for the mini golf, dock, and ice cream, and rocked formal outfits for the antique car pictures. Julia’s Bardot dress was perfect for the retro vibe they were going for. Of course a retro inspired engagement session wouldn’t be complete without fun sunglasses, gloves, and a champagne pop!
Julia and Eric will be tying the knot in June 2023 at the beautiful Bourne Mansion in Long Island, NY. I can’t wait to see what they come up with for their wedding, because if it is anything like their engagement session, it will blow us away!
Check out highlight from their fun session below!
