From an Elegant Bandshell Ceremony and a Joyful Reception
From the very beginning, Alicia and Max envisioned a day that felt timeless, effortless and true to themselves. They wanted a wedding that was centered around joy, presence, and the kind of togetherness that lasts well beyond the last song of the night. Their outdoor summer wedding at Westchester Country Club brought that vision to life in the most beautiful way.
In the heart of Westchester, the Club’s historic charm offered a stunning backdrop for this early summer wedding. From its iconic bandshell to the refined Biltmore Room, old school elevator banks, and luscious outdoor spaces, there are endless options when it comes to portrait locations.
Getting Ready at Westchester Country Club
Alicia and her mom got ready in the Westchester Country Club’s elegant bridal suite. Her bridesmaids and brother came in for a first look once she was ready. She carried with her two family heirlooms: a handkerchief from her Nana, and another from her late grandfather. Additionally, her purse was delicately redesigned from her mother’s own wedding dress. These unique and custom details quietly carried the emotion of the day.
Meanwhile, Max prepared with his groomsmen. He had his own special custom details. He wore custom cufflinks and the engagement watch Alicia had gifted him. His favorite detail? A pair of sleek dress shoes with a bright orange sole, a subtle detail that was extra fun and just for him.

First Look and Portraits Around the Club
The couple shared their first look beneath the grand archway at the front of the Club. The perfect location for a quiet, emotional moment before the celebration began. From there, we explored the grounds for portraits, taking full advantage of Westchester Country Club’s character. We stopped at the iconic black-and-white tiled hallway, the piano near the Mahogany Room, and utilized the beautifully manicured grounds, complete with hydrangea’s that were in full bloom. Alicia and Max love the old-school architecture throughout the club, so we mad sure to stop by the iconic elevators for a few photos.
We finished portraits with the bridal party on the lawn past the terrace, where the symmetry of the architecture and lush greenery created a perfectly balanced backdrop.

A Ceremony at the Bandshell
The ceremony took place in front of the Club’s iconic bandshell, with a soft white petal-lined aisle leading to the altar. White and green florals framed the space in a way that felt refined but organic. It was the perfect way to enhance the venue’s natural beauty without overwhelming it.
The weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding. The excitement was contagious as Alicia walked down the aisle. The entire ceremony was filled with laughter, happy tears, and sentimental speeches. Alicia and Max are the type of couple that you can’t help but smile when you see them. The light up any space! After processing up the aisle, Alicia, Max and their witnesses went indoors to sign the marriage license.

Cocktail Hour on the Terrace and Reception in the Biltmore Room
After the ceremony, guests made their way to the Westchester Terrace for cocktail hour, overlooking the lawns below. Golden hour light, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and a relaxed atmosphere created a seamless transition into the high-energy celebration that followed.
Following the outdoor cocktail hour, the formal reception was held in the Biltmore Room. From the table scapes to the stationery, black, white, and silver details echoed throughout the space. The classic floral arrangements offered just enough soft greenery to bring everything to life.
The reception was full of life from the start. At one point, I took Alicia and Max away for a few minutes to take some sunset portraits on the course, and night portraits at the lit-up bandshell. It was a perfect moment for the two of them before heading back in to rejoin the party. Current Affair Music kept the dance floor energy high! It was the type of celebration every couple wants to create for their guests.

Final Thoughts
Alicia and Max’s outdoor summer wedding at Westchester Country Club was a celebration of presence, connection, and intention. Every element, whether a custom accessory or the decision to stay side-by-side throughout the evening, spoke to the kind of love they share. It was a pleasure to document this day and all of the emotions within it for such a loving couple. Cheers to forever, Alicia and Max!
