Corey and Aaron’s intimate wedding at Brooklyn Winery, in the heart of Brooklyn, New York, was a perfect blend of vibrant colors and modern-industrial charm. It was a true celebration of love and family. From start to finish, the day captured the ideal balance of classic and contemporary in one of Brooklyn’s trendiest venues.
The day began with a first look at the iconic rooftop penthouse suite at The William Vale Hotel, followed by a short walk to the venue. This gave the couple a few private moments together before the long-awaited celebration. We took advantage of this time to capture beautiful portraits of the bride and groom along the way. The energy of the city only heightened the excitement and anticipation for their special day.
A Vibrant and Colorful Palette
The couple chose a playful color palette of pinks, oranges, and yellows, which set the tone for the day. The florals paired with bright, varied bridesmaids dresses added warmth and vibrancy to the modern, urban space. Brooklyn Winery’s greenery, including the live plant wall, creating a perfect blend of nature and city.
Intimate Dinner Party Vibes
The bride and groom wanted their wedding to feel like they were attending an intimate dinner party, where family and friends could gather around shared dishes and enjoy meaningful conversations. With a formal colorful dress code, the celebration struck a perfect balance between elegance and warmth. The venue’s modern design created a light, airy atmosphere that complemented the cozy, inviting vibe they aimed to create for their guests.
A Night of Celebration and Tradition
After dinner, the band cranked up the energy, leading into the couple’s first dance. The energy was palpable, and the Hora brought everyone onto the dance floor. One of the best moments was watching the groom’s 90-year-old grandmother tear up the dance floor. She brought so much joy to the celebration! During dessert, we snuck away for a few quiet moments of night portraits with the iconic late-night ice cream treat from Van Leeuwen, capturing the perfect end to their perfect day.
