Maria and Evan got engaged in March 2022 in Dumbo, Brooklyn. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club in June! They chose to do their engagement session at NYC’s Lincoln Square, the world’s leading performing arts center located on the West side of Manhattan. This area features the Metropolitan Opera House, which made for a beautiful architectural background in their photos. When we arrived, Lincoln Square was bustling with people dressed in their formal wear headed out for an evening at the Opera or ballet. Maria spent a lot of her time in this area while studying in law school, so not only was it a special location, it offered a lot of variety and gave them the opportunity to dress up! Can we take a moment to gush over Evan’s velvet blazer?!
We started by the reflecting pool, then walked around to the front of the opera house, and a space that had a lot of trees with the golden hour sun pouring through. After doing some pictures in the street, we walked to Central Park for some pictures in less formal outfits.
