Alana and Anthony’s modern black-and-white wedding was elegant and timeless – a dream celebration at the Downtown Club by Cescaphe in Philadelphia. Despite some unexpected weather, their celebration was one to remember!
The Love Story
These two have been through so much together over the past eight years – countless adventures, endless amount of baseball games, and even a proposal at Marlins Stadium in Miami. Their love story is truly something special. With much anticipation from their loved ones, they finally had the downtown wedding of their dreams.
Meaningful Moments Before the Ceremony
The details were what made the day deeply meaningful. Anthony’s tribute to his late aunt, with a photo clip inside his jacket, and the exchange of Cartier and Rolex watches, along with eloquent letters between the bride and groom, spoke volumes about their profound appreciation for the important things in life – their love and family.
Elegance and City Charm in Downtown Philadelphia
Despite the rain altering our plans, we had an iconic photoshoot through the historic streets of Center City right before the ceremony. The stone steps of a nearby building provided the perfect backdrop for stunning wedding photos. Sometimes the unexpected turns out to be even better than the original plan.
Modern Meets Classic at the Down Town Club by Cescaphe
The Down Town Club by Cescaphe‘s modern black-and-white wedding ballroom perfectly complemented the couple’s style. Alana’s decision to keep her veil on throughout cocktail hour and formal dances added a unique touch to the evening. During the lively reception, I stole a moment with the newlyweds for some unforgettable night portraits. It’s always one of my favorite parts of of any wedding.
In the end, it wasn’t about the rain or everything go according to plan. It was about two people deeply in love, surrounded by supportive friends and family, celebrating the beginning of their next chapter together.
